Application and Materials

Application forms are available for download here. Applications must be postmarked by the November 1, 2011 deadline and should be mailed to the following address:

Submit the following with completed application:

  • Proof of birthdate (facsimile copy of birth certificate, driver's license or passport).
  • Preliminary round DVD or VHS (must be high quality recording; poor recordings will not be given consideration. Label recordings with names, compositions and accompanist's name).
  • Biography; limit to no more than 250 words
  • High resolution digital photo/headshot.
  • Non-refundable fee of US $50. Applicants must send fees in the form of a money order or cashier's check in U.S. dollars made out to Stephen F. Austin State University. No personal checks accepted.

Note that all submitted materials become the property of the Schmidbauer International Competition and will not be returned.
